CEF has worked on the Twitti School project with Shelley O’ Callaghan and Friends for Zambia for several years to further our mission of expanding educational opportunities in developing nations. Friends for Zambia is a Canadian non-profit organization which was founded in 2006 to raise the funds needed to build a community school in Lilayi, Zambia. 

The Twitti School was opened on July 13th, 2012 to provide greater educational possibilities for the local children of Lialyi, Zambia. Now the school has eleven classrooms, three washroom facilities, a water well, a library, and an administration building. As a part of the project, we donated $12,000 to purchase classroom furniture and funded the construction of the third classroom block of the Twitti School. We are proud to say that our contributions have allowed an additional 200 children access to an education!
