Code like Her

Partner - KINA and Code Rush

Females in Nepal make up a very few percentages in the IT and technology sector with just over a quarter of these roles being occupied by females. The major reason is gender stereotypes, a male dominant society, and a lack of female role models for the new generation of enthusiastic females.

SIERRA LEONE

Empowering Mothers’ Clubs to Empower All Girls

In Sierra Leone there are many communities so rural and remote, there are few or no other NGO or government services. Cause Canada with funds provided by CEF, focused on reaching these extremely hard to reach communities that had the greatest need. In ten targeted communities, 690 girls were identified as being out of school.
